

Education is an important factor in any facility that is serious in manufacturing or engineering. Seminars are available throughout the year to train tool design engineers in the proper methods of cold forming.
Met-MAX offers 2 levels of formal training programs:
INTRODUCTION TO COLD FORMING PRINCIPLES
A two day, intensive course for design engineers and others who want to learn the basics of cold forming and design criteria. Subjects range from upsetting and extrusions, to tolerances and materials.
ADVANCED COLD FORMING PRINCIPLES
A two day, hands-on seminar for experienced tool designers. This course teaches techniques by utilizing our own patented QUIKCALC Plus software. Subjects range from die design principles, load and energy calculations, to die construction.
